I take pride in the diverse interests of my friends — from auto journalists, PR pros, illustrators to historic preservationists, filmmakers and poets. Perhaps you feel the same way about your friends?
Thinking allowed here: the collection of information we have to share with each other is enormous.
So why not an unconference? Invite everyone to show up prepared to share/teach, create an agenda and let go? Educating, freewheeling and entertaining. My kind of party.
So, tucking that away for future reference. Feel free to use it yourself though.
The Idea Bar: The Idea Bar grew out of my fascination with the artist Harrell Fletcher and the brain dumps of ideas that he used to litter his site. This manifested as a performance installation, 2,003 Ideas for Future Projects. Recently reading Rohit Bhargava, I came across his IdeaBar posts and the concept of open source idea sharing, inspired by John at Digital Influence Mapping Project. Like Rohit, I say take and use these ideas, just please link back to me or the specific Idea Bar post that inspired you.
